After the incident, Prefecture 31 was plagued by 'Rad Spots', areas of highly radioactive waste. The Government decided not to risk human life on the clean-up. They instead designed a fleet of Heavy Autonomous Scout and Rescue Drones (HASARD). With swarms of hard-to-kill drones scanning the critical areas of contamination, the cleanup was precise and finished without a single life lost.
