More out of context panels. Gregory was a big character so I wanted to make sure his poses were over the top especially when his face was hidden.

The Gregory character ended up somewhere between Archie and Hank Venture. Charming in a nerdy sort of way, sometimes naive and wide-eyed other times absorbed in an alter-ego to hilarious, cringe-inducing effect. Your typical geek in the late 90's.

SUSPICION! Comic Project

From April to October 2022 I was hired to develop a 31 page prequel comic for a game project called Suspicion, a story centered on a game designer antihero.

I referenced everything from old Archie comics to The Venture Bros for style influences. I went with a sketchier style to stay loose, and distressed the pages to the maximum to make them feel like they were from a comic found in someone's basement.

It was a lot of fun to work on this, I grew up reading Calvin & Hobbes and Archie so I let that guide things in terms of the flow of things, the posing and bizarre sound words. The client was thrilled with each delivered page and were very happy with the end result.
